GENERAL RULES BELOW – ALL APPLY TO EACH INDIVIDUAL PROMOTION

When registering for the loyalty scheme, person’s must indicate that they are over 18 to receive certain drinks promotions & discounts. Persons may still be asked for proof of age as per the Manx licensing laws, all conditions and acceptable forms of Identification still apply. Service will be refused to anyone who it appears, or cannot prove they are 18 years of age.
The company reserve the right to alter / change / the promotion at any time for whatever reason. The company reserve the right to refuse service for any reason / or deny discounts or promotions to any person or group for any reason whatsoever, should the company feel there is sufficient reason too, or that the promotion has been abused in anyway.
None of the promotions on the loyalty cards will run during the following dates every year;
ISLE OF MAN T.T., MANX GRAND PRIX / FESTIVAL OF MOTOR SPORT, DECEMBER 1^st – 31^st
The company holds the final decision on any dispute whatsoever.
The card MUST be registered to receive this promotion
The customer MUST hand over their card to the server to receive the promotion
Any customer who has forgotten their card on the day, cannot ask for the discount another time when producing the card at a later date (i.e. the card must be given at the time – and the discount will only be given on the day.
Any customer who has forgotten their card, if they are entitled to some sort of free product whatsoever, cannot claim the prize until their card has been shown
Only one promotion can be redeemed at any one time, this is purely because the till system cannot do more than one promotion discount per bill.
The promotions are available at both Jaks Bar & Smokehouse, Frank Matcham’s and all Barbary Coast venues only, and no other venues whatsoever.
Redeeming any promotion/prize can be done at both venues as above also, and no other venues whatsoever.
Not in conjunction with any other promotion on food or drinks in Jaks Bar & Smokehouse, The Barbary Coast Venues and Frank Matcham’s.

5% OFF ALL FOOD AND DRINKS – ALL DAY – EVERYDAY;

On handing in your card, you will receive a 5% deduction on any bill/transaction. Whether for one item, or a full bill.
The 5% discount applies to both food and drinks
The discount applies to snacks and hot drinks also

KIDS EAT FREE MONDAYS

Terms and conditions: Promotion valid and applicable at The Barbary Coast (Douglas/East) on Monday evenings from 5pm-9pm. Kids must order items from the kids menu only. Whippy ice cream included. Drinks not included. Only children aged 12 and below can receive the promotion. Anyone over this age will be considered an adult, and will have to pay for the meal. Offer is valid ONLY upon the purchase of an adults meal from the menu (appetisers and light bites will not be considered a main meal). Any platter ordered will be classed as one meal only and only one kids meal will be deducted from your bill – this is due to our till system and cannot be changed. Each adult meal purchased will entitle the table to one child’s meal: Therefore 1 adult meal = 1 child’s meal. Management have the right to remove this offer at anytime, and without prior notice. The managements decision is final and binding.

BUY THREE MAIN MEALS – GET A FREE BOTTLE OF HOUSE WINE;

This promotion will run on Mondays from 5pm only.
The promotion will be available at ALL BARBARY COASTS (Douglas, Ramsey & Peel)
The promotion will not be available at any other Jaks Group venue (i.e NOT available at Frank Matcham’s, or Jaks Sports Bar & Smokehouse).
The promotion is buy three main meals from the main menu, and receive a bottle of house wine only for free.
The promotion will always favour the company and NOT the customer.
THIS PROMOTION IS NOT IN CONJUNTION WITH ANY OTHER PROMOTION, purchasing other items from another promotion that may clash with this one, will automatically make the till system surrender one of the promotions (THIS MEANS THE TILL WILL ONLY ALLOW ONE PROMOTION PER BILL).
ALWAYS ask your server the best way to order, so that you receive the best deal possible.
Senior Meals and Kids meals from the menu are NOT classed as a main meal.
Appetisers items on the menu, whether ordered as a starter or a main are NOT classed as a main meal.
Platters from the menu are classed as ONE MEAL only, as the till is not able to differentiate for these, we suggest you avoid ordering platters for this promotion.
Please make sure you ask your server what promotion you should use to benefit the most.
The wine available is HOUSE WINE ONLY, of which there are 3 white, 2 rose, and three red available to choose from.
If you wish to take the wine home rather than drink on the night, this is fine and allowed.
No other drink alternatives will be offered whatsoever.
Sharing one main meal between two people is not allowed.

This promotion will run on Mondays from 5pm only.
The promotion will be available at ALL BARBARY COASTS (Douglas, Ramsey & Peel)
The promotion will not be available at any other Jaks Group venue (i.e NOT available at Frank Matcham’s, or Jaks Sports Bar & Smokehouse).
The promotion is Buy any cocktail off the cocktail menu, and get another for £1.
The promotion will always select the cheaper of the 2 cocktails purchased to reduce by £1.
This promotion DOES NOT include Mocktails (0% Alcohol cocktails) that are already sold at a reduced price.
Should you buy multiple cocktails, the till system will always reduce the TWO CHEAPEST in price by £1.
The promotion will always favour the company and NOT the customer.

ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET TERM & CONDITIONS;

This promotion will run on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 5pm, from the date advertised on social media and website.
The promotion will be available at ALL BARBARY COASTS (Douglas, Ramsey & Peel)
The promotion will not be available at any other Jaks Group venue
The promotion is £19.95 per person, and £10.00 for Seniors and children
For the purposes of the promotion, Kids are classed as 12yrs and under, seniors as 65 yrs and older.
ID for proof od age may be requested.
The promotion is a buffet of selected foods, which customers can come up as many times as they like from items.
SHARING FOODS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE PERSON IS NOT ALLOWED
Taking items home in a ‘doggy bag’ is not allowed.
Anyone who shares their food, the table will be charged £19.95 per adult and £10.00 for children and seniors extra.
The Buffet items will change weekly, menus will be on the table on the day to let customers know what is available.
All items on the buffet will be clearly labelled, along with any allergen information (i.e. gluten free etc)
Our normal food menu will be reduced and limited to certain items only on these days, the menu will be on the table for customers, along with the buffet menu.

This promotion will run on Wednesdays from 5pm
The promotion will be available at Barbary Coast East (Douglas) & North (Ramsey) only – this is because West Coast Peel has it’s own separate promotion running during this day.
The promotion will not be available at any other jaks group venue
The promotion is £12 per person for the promotion
SHARING IS NOT ALLOWED
Taking wings home in a ‘doggy bag’ is not allowed
Anyone who shares their food, the table will be charged £12 per person sharing.
The wings will be served x10 at a time, customers will be asked if they require more over and over until finished.
Any sauces requested after the first two given with the first ten wings, will be chargeable and added to the bill at full menu price
ALL SIDES ordered are extra, and not included in the promotion. Any ordered will be added to the bill at full price.

SENIORS EAT FREE PROMOTION;

This promotion will run on Thursdays from 5pm
Seniors will be classed as 65 years and above as per the disclaimer on the Seniors menu on the main food menu.
The promotion will be available at Barbary Coast East (Douglas), North (Ramsey) & West (Peel) venues only.
The promotion will not be available at any other jaks group venue
The promotion is one free senior’s meal with any main meal purchased on the menu.
For the purposes of this promotion, the free meal MUST be a meal ordered from the ‘seniors’ section of the menu
One senior meal will be reduced from the bill automatically from the till as long as a main meal is purchased.
Items on the menu that are NOT classed as a main meal are all items on the children’s menu, all items on the starters/appetisers menu, ALL ITEMS ON THE SENIORS MENU, all sides purchased individually.
As per the previous rule, this means that ordering two senior meals from the menu will NOT incur any free meal. There must be one meal ordered from the main menu to activate the promotion.
Should customers order a sharing platter from the menu when ordering, PLEASE NOTE that the till will class a platter as ONE MEAL and not as two meals. Therefore if you order a platter and two senior meals, only one will be deducted from the bill. This is purely because the tills cannot differentiate them as two meals.

This promotion will run on Thursdays from 5pm
Promotion will not be available on any other day.
The promotion will be available at ALL BARBARY COASTS (Douglas, Ramsey & Peel)
The promotion will not be available at any other Jaks Group venue (NOT Frank Matcham’s, or Jaks Sports Bar & Smokehouse)
The promotion is buy one burger, get the other for free.
The promotion will always favour the company, so ordering two burgers at different prices – the till system will automatically make the CHEAPER burger free, and charge for the most expensive one.
The promotion does not include any sides ordered, these are all extra at the price shown on the menu.
Ordering multiple burgers (for example 4 burgers) – the till system will favour the company, and automatically make the TWO CHEAPEST burgers the free ones, charging full price for the two most expensive ones.
THIS PROMOTION IS NOT IN CONJUCTION WITH ANY OTHER PROMOTION. the till system will not allow two promotions on the same bill, (for example on a Thursday is also Seniors eat free – should you try and buy two burgers and a senior meal – the till will automatically SURRENDER the burger promotion – and add the seniors eat free promotion instead (because this is the cheaper of the promotions and the till always favours the company).
Customers should ALWAYS ask how is best to place their order, so they promotion they receive should be the best deal possible.

10% OFF DISCOUNT CARDS;

These vouchers will be handed to every booking on a Sunday.
One voucher handed per booking no matter what the size.
The voucher entitles customers to 10% off their whole bill for the next time they visit.
The voucher can be used at any barbary coast, that is Douglas Ramsey or Peel.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed at Jaks Bar or Frank Matcham’s.
The 10% includes all drinks and food (Except Champagnes on the menu).
The voucher CANNOT be used in conjunction with any other promotion price or offer (for example, should a customer try and use the voucher on Kids eat free night – when redeeming the voucher the till will automatically: Surrender the free kids meal, add it back onto the bill, and then deduct the whole bill by 10%.)
It is in the interest of the customer to work out whether they are better off using the discount card, or just allowing the promotion prices on their bill. Staff will assist in letting people know which is in their benefit.
The voucher CANNOT be used on the APP, nor can it be used for collection/takeaway.
The voucher cannot be used if the customer has tried to apply loyalty discount to their bill, the till will automatically surrender the loyalty card, and apply the 10% discount instead.
Customers MUST buy at least one main meal to be eligible for the voucher to be given to them. They cannot (for example) come in and have one drink and think they will receive a voucher.
The voucher can only be used when ‘eating in’ at the Barbary Coast venues.
You can receive a voucher at one Barbary Coast venue, and use it at another anytime.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
Vouchers can be used to purchase and drinks or food.
Vouchers HAVE NO ‘VALID BEFORE’ DATE, THEY CAN BE USED WHENEVER.
The Jaks group of venues are as follows: Jaks bar & smokehouse, Barbary Coast Grill & Bar Douglas, Frank Matcham’s cocktail & music bar, Barbary Coast Grill & Social Ramsey, Barbary Coast Grill & Tavern Peel.
When redeeming a voucher, please pass to your server at the point of payment, so that it can be redeemed.
The managers or directors’ decision on any issues with regards to voucher redemption will be final. Should the manager, staff or directors feel that the voucher is being abused in any way will not allow the voucher to be used and their decision will be final.
Management has the right to not allow a voucher for any reason that they feel it is either not genuine, being abused, or any other reason that they feel necessary.

FREE KIDS MEAL DISCOUNT CARD;

These vouchers will be handed to every booking on a Monday during the kids eat free night.
One voucher handed per booking no matter what the size.
The voucher entitles customers to one free kids meal to be deducted from their bill.
The voucher can be used at any Barbary Coast, that is Douglas Ramsey or Peel.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed at Jaks Bar or Frank Matcham’s.
A kids meal must be ordered within the bill for the discount to be applied. (any meal from the kids menu part of the main menu.
Ordering anything from the menu for your child, will not activate the promotion card button on the till. It MUST be something from the kids menu.
Children are classed as 12 years and under for ordering kids meals. Adults cannot order a kids meal for themselves to try and get the discount at the end on their bill.
The voucher when redeemed will automatically knock £10.00 of the customers bill
The voucher CANNOT be used in conjunction with any other promotion price or offer (for example, should a customer try and use the voucher on any promotion priced food or drinks, the till will automatically surrender the promotion prices, add them at full price to the bill onto the bill, and then deduct the £10.00 instead)

GIFT VOUCHERS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
Vouchers can be used to purchase drinks or food and can also be collected if the customer wishes to do so.
Vouchers are valid for one year only from the date of the sale. This is non-negotiable, and any voucher that may be tried to be redeemed after this time will not be accepted under any circumstances.Any promotions available at the time of redemption will also be valid.
Purchases must be made on the voucher within the Jaks Group of venues; these are not redeemable at other venues.
The Jaks Group of venues includes Jaks Bar & Smokehouse, Barbary Coast Grill & Bar Douglas, Frank Matcham’s Cocktail & Music Bar, Barbary Coast Grill & Social Ramsey, and Barbary Coast Grill & Tavern Peel.
When redeeming a voucher, please pass it to your server at the point of payment so it can be redeemed.
Vouchers purchased online must be printed off and handed to your server. Please DO NOT try to show the server the digital copy on your phone. The hard copy must be handed over for redemption.
Online vouchers are digitally stored on the company’s database once they are purchased and redeemed so that the company knows when a voucher has been used. Any customer trying to use a digital voucher more than once will be prosecuted. The manager, staff member, or director who decides that a voucher has already been used will make this decision, which will be final and binding.
Vouchers purchased at any Jaks group venue will have a till receipt stapled to a piece of card. We must be given the till receipt part of this at the point of redemption. Anyone not providing the till receipt copy, and only the card copy, will not be able to redeem, as the till receipt copy has the unique redemption number within.
When redeeming a voucher, the total amount MUST be redeemed. If there is a balance remaining on the voucher at the point of redeeming, we CANNOT:

Give cash change
Provide another voucher for the remaining balance

Customers may purchase items to take out with them to use up any remaining balance, for example a bottle of wine, or some soft drinks.
The manager’s or directors’ decision on any issues regarding voucher redemption will be final. Should the manager, staff, or directors feel that the voucher is being abused in any way, they will not allow it to be used, and their decision will be final.
